Utah's first Design Star?....

Michelle will probably roll her eyes, because she knows how fast the wheels in my head start spinning if I have free time to think about design, but as we've been watching HGTV's "Design Star" I wondered, "why am I not on this show?". We both sit and critique and pick out things we would or wouldn't do watching the designers scramble to complete the design challenges. And, although both of my degrees are in Architecture, my true love is pure design - whether that be a skyscraper, a light fixture, a home, a custom piece of furniture, an interior, or a makeover. I love design, and while I search for employment with a local architect, I would love to take on home makeover projects, both to build my personal design portfolio and, much more importantly, to give people a reinvented space they are dying to get home to at the end of the day.

So, if you or someone you know has a space (or spaces) in your home that are calling out for help, I would be honored to help you invision what those spaces could become, and take them from concept to completion with you!
